The ULTRAXIS solution has been selected to monitor the structural stability of the historic medieval underground vaults of the Royal Castle in Warsaw. The vaults will be monitored continuously, around the clock, by means of the AXIS HLS, a high-precision, multi-point hydrostatic levelling system distinguished by its exceptional sensitivity (0.1 µm) and unprecedented long-term stability (1 µm/year) across its entire measurement range (40 mm). Owing to these exacting specifications, the AXIS HLS is capable of detecting even the slightest deformations of the Castle’s subterranean structures. Over the long term, it also makes it possible to isolate residual trends of structural distortion from the reversible deformations induced by seasonal temperature fluctuations and other factors, such as visitor traffic and the surrounding urban environment. Further details regarding the AXIS system are available in the Solutions section.

The commissioning of the AXIS HLS at the Royal Castle in Warsaw is scheduled for December 2026.
